Tired Tuesday

I was tired yesterday so I didn't blog like usual.  I'm tired today too and I'll be tired tomorrow, I'm sure.  I haven't been sleeping much these days because I'm too busy worrying and being anxious about the future.

Sadly, not a single blogger entered my Christmas in July swap this year.  I'm thinking now that maybe I won't host it next year so no one seemed interested.  I don't know, I guess I'll have to see how next year goes.  I was late in posting about it this year because I had a lot going on.

I've been lucky enough to have several job interviews the last couple of weeks and I have another one this morning too!  Sadly, none of the interviews have panned out so far.  One of them went so well until they asked me to complete a math test.  I had no idea how to figure out the problems so I knew that job wasn't happening.  Another job that I soooooooo desperately wanted and which would have utilized my degree, I froze up and gave a terrible interview.  It was so bad that I would not have hired myself even!  Today's interview isn't necessarily a job that I want and it's not one that goes with my degree, but it pays well.  It's only temporary through the end of the year - there may be a possibility that the company will hire some employees at the end though if they're satisfied with my work.  It's better than nothing though and would at least pay the bills for the time being.  So I've got my fingers crossed it all works out.  In the meantime, I'm opening and closing a laundromat 5 days a week for $20 a week.  It's literally just that - unlocking the doors in the morning and turning on the lights, turning off the lights and locking up at night.  It generally takes about 6 minutes a day, so really not too bad considering...

Good luck with the interview. I hope something comes along that will be a perfect fit for you. Meanwhile, you may want to contact the Unemployment Office. I know that they have classes on how to prepare for an interview and other skills to help you land a job. As far as I know, they are free.

Awww, so sorry the Christmas in July did not work out and the job interviews. Life can be frustrating and difficult. Hopefully things will turn around and you will get your dream job. Lots of hugs.

I'm sorry to hear you haven't been sleeping well and are anxious about the future. Good luck with the interviews. Hopefully you will find the perfect fit before too much longer. Please don't be too hard on yourself. It helps me to remind myself when I have a bad day that I must have bad days to truly appreciate the good. Keep the faith.

I didn't even realise you'd done Christmas in July this year to be honest with Dip needing my full time attention.
That's so frustrating when you freeze up like that in an interview, it's happened to me too.
Good luck with this job, paws crossed!
