I'm happy I got my car washed this week!
I'm happy I got to spend my father's birthday with him this past Sunday!
I'm happy I got a few walks in this week before the weather turned cold! My hip, on the other hand, is not so happy! It still hasn't forgiven me.
I'm happy I had an interview today!
I'm happy that I've decided to look into some educational opportunities since this whole work thing doesn't seem to be working out so well!
I'm happy I got a voucher for $20 worth of free gas!
I'm happy this is my 99th post!
This week's Blog of the Week is actually a website and to be honest, I'm not sure how I found it. It's archive's go back to September 2003. If you've read my blog for very long, you know that I love celebrity gossip. My life lately has been pretty humdrum so it's always refreshing and fun to read about someone else's that I can live vicariously through.
If I could have plastic surgery, I would do so in a heart beat. I'll have the Heidi Montag special, please! Only I wouldn't have my lips inflated, my ears pinned back and implants in my butt. No, my ass is big enough as it is, my ears are fine and I don't like the trout pout look. But I'd go for the nose job, breast implants and lipo for sure! And I'd see what else the dr. might recommend and be open to suggestions!
However, this site would probably make me think twice! The "after" shots are supposed to look better than the "before" shots, right? Yeah, not always the case here! Sometimes the results are downright laughable! Take this picture, for example:
Scary, isn't it?
So yeah, while that particular site might make you a little leary, it's counterpart might do just the opposite!
Most of what this site shows are small imperfections being corrected and many of them you may not even have noticed if they weren't pointed out to you. This is more of the plastic surgery I'd go for! I'm not sure how old this particular site is as for some reason my computer wouldn't let me go back into it's archives. I don't believe it's as old as Awful Plastic Surgery though.
6 showed me some love:
Those are good things to be happy about.
Good luck with the interview.
If that photo is anything to go by, I don't think I will be having plastic surgery any time soon, lol!

Oh God I've been to that awful plastic surgery site and it is funny and awful all at once.
Glad you had an interview, how did it go?
I love your Friday posts.;)
How exciting to maybe go back to school, why not?;)
I got to go and visit that web site, that pictures is hilariously scary.;) I guess some people are prone to exaggerations, so if you let them loose in the field of plastic surgery, they will go to some odd extremes.;)
Have a great weekend dear sprinkles,
xoxo
Oh my God - that picture is a joke, right?! Who would pay a lot of money - AND undergo the risks of surgery & pain of recovery - to look like THAT??!! :-)
Good luck with that job interview! I really admire you for always remaining upbeat about things and keep trying...but your idea of further education/re-training doesn't sound bad either - especially if things are slow on the work front.

Great concept - far more cheery than my usual self. :)
No new lips for this guy, thanks!
