Today is officially Chico's 5th birthday. I'm not sure what day Shiver's is but I do know they were both born the same year and around the same month and day so we celebrate them together. Coincidentally, I got them both on Thanksgiving weekend in different years.
Wednesday's are agonizingly long for me. Because my babies' special day lands on a Wednesday, I was planning to celebrate with half of their goodies on Tuesday and half on Thursday. I gave both the boys a new toy with a squeaker in the middle yesterday, which I thought they'd love. They tend to be very picky about what they'll play with but these toys fit all their requirements -- small, lightweight and a squeaker. They were excited for all of about 2 seconds and then they had no interest whatsoever. Hopefully they just need to get used to the new smell or something and these toys will become their favorites.

Isn't it sad as to how fast the years go by? Chewy will be 4 in December, I can't believe he's already that old!! I just want to hold back time and keep him a puppy forever, lol!

Happy birthday, Chico and shiver! Those might be old photos but they are great ones! It sounds like you got great new toys for your birthday too – I'm not much of a squeaker dog but I know lots of doggies who love them! I sometimes lose interest in new toys really quickly to but then I go back to them after a while. Hope you enjoyed your special day!

Our cat is the pickiest thing when it comes to cat beds and cat toys. I've never had a picky cat before.. but she sure is!! Might as well save my money because the only thing she enjoys is a simple piece of 'string'.. lol
