Half Full Friday is a series of weekly posts that Eyegirl originally started in June 2009. We believe that a lot of our happiness is determined by our attitude about the things that happen to us. So by participating, I'm deciding to see the glass as half full instead of half empty; I'm choosing to concentrate on the positives instead of dwelling on the negatives. The Half Full Friday posts are a way to do just that. They're a list of the things in my life that have brought me happiness over the past week. I'm determined to find something good in each day. Are you?
For the next week, I'd like to challenge each of you to keep a list of at least one thing that brought you happiness each day. Be sure to link up here once you've posted your list! (This isn't a blog hop so please only link up if you've participated by posting your happy list. Thanks!)
I'm happy because...
I played hooky on Monday!
I got caught up on homework and notes easily!
The rain has melted the dusting of snow 2x this week!
I might have a new job!
I'm finally breaking in my Uggs knock-off boots.
Phoenix...
...has agreed to go with...
...Chico to the big dance! We're still waiting to hear back if Cali will go with Shiver.

That's an old picture of Chico but it's my favorite one. He really is a cute little dog!
Speaking of pictures, I don't know what's up with my camera but I can't seem to upload the pictures of my quilt square. Soooo annoying!

I'm gonna try my hardest to get my giveaway going on Monday. I can get into my account now but haven't had the time to properly use the product. I wanna give it the best review I can so that you'll all wanna enter for the fabulous prize!

So the new job... There's this girl in one of my classes who needs someone to take notes for her. Not sure why she can't take them herself. But that's good for me! Anways, I volunteered and it's a paying position. It's only $75 which is only like $5 a week but hey, it's $! And any little bit helps.
12 showed me some love:
Still no snow here for us. Winter has forgotten us.
Great on the new job. Just some advice, be sure to get paid every week and not at the end of the semester so there are no surprises. Might not be a bad idea to get something in writing too:)
Good luck to you this semester.
Woos- Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Cute post. I really do need to start doing this, more often anyway. That's great that you got an easy job like that. I wish I could get something easy, like cleaning houses, walking dogs, babysitting.
Some money is better than no money. That is what Alien's say!
Yours,
Hope you get your new job, good luck!
Glad your snow has melted and you managed to catch up on your notes.
Another good week of positive thinking.
Hugs, Lynne x
Playing hooky is always fun.
Hey...$75 for taking notes is a nice gig, enjoy!
Aww.. that's very nice of you for taking that extra job, even if you do get paid. Some students need note takers because their hand coordination is weaker or slower. So note taking takes too long to catch everything and it's very frustrating. One of my son's had a note taker and it help him in so many ways and he really appreciated it! :-)
Have a wonderful weekend!!!
HUGS,

Hey Wylde One!
Wow, sure sounds like a great week! I'm so happy to see about Chico and Phoenix and I bet we can triple-date!! BOL. I'm glad to see a pix of your boy. I'd be sure to get paid first, but I think this is a great job...it will give you another refresher about the information which should help at test time!
